Panasonic showcased new camcorder AG-HPX600 at IBC 2012. This camera combines high cost-performance, easy operation and has a wide application area – from studio shooting to sports broadcasting. Various interchangeable 2/3-type lenses can be used with this camera.
HPX600 can record video in AVC-Intra100/50, DVCPRO HD, DVCPRO50, DVCPRO and DV formats, 50 Hz and 59.94 Hz frequencies. New AVC Ultra master-quality codecs will be available for this camera and will offer low-bit-rate 10-bit, 4:2:2 recording in Full HD.
The HPX600 camcorder also features a smart user interface, that allows you to access camera’s extensive functions from an LCD display; a newly-designed (optional) 16:9, 3.45-inch, 920,000-dot resolution LCD color viewfinder; a 10-pin remote terminal enabling remote camera operation; and an optional camera studio system.
Camera has two P2 card slots and one SD-card slot. The HPX600 has two XLR audio inputs, and records up to four channels of 48kHz, 16-bit audio.
