At the booth of Engineer-Service at TV and Radio Fair 2013 was presented a range of Panasonic’s products. Visitor’s interest aroused HD studio camera Panasinic AK-HC3500. The Incorporating three high-performing 2/3" 2.2-megapixel IT CCDs, a newly developed 38-bit digital signal processor, and a 14-bit A/D converter, the HC3500 delivers exceptional HD images in 1080/59.94i and 1080/50i. Other functions that allow Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) that varies the gamma correction to match the contrast within the image.

The AG-HPX255 P2 hand-held camcorder, offers advanced high-performance features including a high-sensitivity 1/3” 2.2 megapixel 3-MOS image sensor, (Ultra Luminance Technology (U.L.T.), and an AVC-Intra codec to enable high-quality recording of Full-HD (1920 x 1080), 10 bit, 4:2:2 full sample images.
Panasonic’s AJ-PX5000G Is the first AVC-Ultra camcorder. It has two microP2 slots as well as two regular P2 slots along with a USB 3.0 interface. The 2/3-inch 3-MOS camera is the first P2 camcorder to record full-res 10-bit 1080/60p video using the AVC-Intra100 codec as well as 10-bit 4:2:2 AVC-LongG, a long-GOP variant offering bit-rate options of 25 Mbps and 50 Mbps. AVC-Proxy will also be offered as an option, enabling offline editing of footage compressed to anywhere between 800 kbps and 3.5 Mbps. Offline workflows will be the same no matter what class of AVC-Intra footage is being relinked at the end of the process.
The AW-HE120 delivers the highest image quality of any integrated pan/tilt/zoom camera. Featuring a fast 20X zoom lens and a three 2.2 megapixel U.L.T. MOS imagers supporting Full HD video capture, the compact HE120 produces excellent video in a wide range of shooting conditions. Ideally suited for such demanding applications as sports, staging, House of Worship, news and government video, the HE120 is equipped with the same high-performance sensors and digital signal processing used in Panasonic broadcast camcorders.
The AG-AC160A AVCCAM HD handheld camcorder is equipped with high-sensitivity 1/3", full-HD 2.2 megapixel U.L.T. (Ultra Luminance Technology) 3-MOS imager as well as 22X HD zoom lens (the longest in its class), to offer a wide field of view and operability much like an interchangeable lens. In addition, the AG-AC160A features Turbo-Speed One-Push Auto Focus to focus on objects in less than 0.5 seconds, and Expanded Auto Focus Assist that enlarges the center of an image.
AG-HMX100E highly versatile unit integrates a HD/SD video switcher, audio mixer, MultiViewer and control panel in a single, compact unit. The HMX100 features a built-in MultiViewer output and combines high-quality video switching with embedded or analog audio mixing functions. It offers a very flexible user interface and supports SD, HD formats, plus switching of 3D sources. It's ideal for use in schools, hotels, government facilities, corporations, public access channels, live events and weddings, and in mobile or portable applications.
Panasonic has developed microP2 card solid-state recording media for broadcast use with the same size as the SD Memory Card. While dramatically reducing the size and cost of the current P2 card (which is PC card size), the new microP2 card offers the same level of data capacity (32 GB/64 GB) as well as high transfer speed, superb reliability and excellent security. A Memory Card Adapter for use in devices*2equipped with the current P2 card slot, and a Memory Card Drive are also available. This provides a smooth transition to a microP2 card-based workflow with superior operability.
