RTS has increased its product portfolio with the addition of the new LH-Series headsets, which are available worldwide now, and are currently on display at IBC2017.
   

As the next generation of the PH-Series headsets, the models are lightweight and are optimised for operation with all existing RTS intercoms such as the ROAMEO wireless intercom system as well as all KP-Series and other RTS keypanels. Different connector type options – XLR, 4-/5-pin, male/female and 3.5 mm audio plug – allow for flexibility for the headsets to be used in virtually any kind of application.

A new feature of the headsets include a microphone boom design providing stronger rotation stops, while the headband-to-glider joint has been made more robust. A pre-coiled overhead cord has been added to reduce the strain on the cord and prevent it from catching on other objects or touching the skin. An added yoke provides enhanced comfort by allowing ear cup movement in all directions; this reduces pressure points by distributing and balancing pressure over the entire ear. A soft headband pad further improves wearing comfort.

Both new models come with replaceable leatherette ear cushions including speaker protection cloth for added hygiene and durability. An acoustic limiter protects users against sudden increases in sound levels.
