The Chinese company Fxlion has a long tradition (over 20 years) of manufacturing lithium-ion battery packs. Today, they offer a wide variety of batteries for multiple standards. One of their new products is the NANO ONE compact battery with V-lock mount, which they have announced during this year’s NAB. The Fxlion NANO ONE is a new, compact battery with V-lock mount and a variety of other powering inputs and outputs, like USB type-C, USB type-A, micro USB, and D-tap.
The NANO ONE is not a full-size V-lock mount battery. Its compact body has dimensions of 100 × 71 × 35mm (3.9 x 2.8 x 1.4″) and it weighs 310 g (10.93 oz). These specs make the NANO ONE a suitable battery for traveling. The body is designed to be rugged and durable. All the inputs and outputs are covered with rubber caps to prevent dust or moisture entering the connectors.
The capacity of this compact lithium-ion battery pack is 50Wh and the output voltage is 14.8V. It supports up to 8A continuous draw. There is a monochromatic backlit display on the battery to inform about its current status, output voltage, real-time capacity, etc.
Apart from the standard usage (on a V-lock battery plate), the NANO ONE can also be used as a power bank to charge a phone, laptop, lights, and such. It features a variety of powering inputs and outputs – USB type-A, USB type-C, micro USB, and D-tap connector. The working temperature is around -20℃ to +55℃ (-4°F to 131°F).
- USB type-A port supports 5V/2.4A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A output
- USB type-C port supports 5V/2.4A, 9V/2A, 12V/2A, 15V/2A, and 20V/2.2A output
- micro USB port outputs 5V/3A
- D-Tap outputs 14.8V
The Fxlion NANO ONE is currently available for pre-order. Fxlion also offers a small V-lock plate with additional D-tap output to work with the battery.
