Croatian company MetaProfile.tv is employing ChatGPT to increase the quality of metadata it proґvides for the TV industry. The company processes metadata for more than 4.000 TV channels, 200+ streaming services and 2000+ sports leagues. It began using the chatbot to generate text around language translation and creativity.
It has gone on to increase ChatGPT’s knowledge so that it can be used by MetaProfile.tv’s metadata engine to create content that can be on linear channel content.
According to MetaProfile.tv, ChatGPT understands the overall context of metadata engine queries and generates answers which are relevant to the specific topic. It is being used alongside the company’s experts.
“The key is in giving the right and sufficient inputs for Large Learning Model to create acceptable content which can be used in improving our customers’ TV metadata and their TV interfaces for an authentic customer experience,” said Admir Đozović, CEO of MetaProfile.tv.
“But we are still far from a fully automated process. Our metadata outcome needs to be 100 per cent accurate and additional quality controls are still needed, not just for content quality reasons but for copywrite challenges as well. We all know ChatGPT is still evolving, but for now, it helps us a lot to be more creative and enable our TV partners to have better and more interesting metadata content.”
