At IBC 2023 in Amsterdam, FXLION was showing its new NANO Wireless V-Mount Batteries. Wireless batteries? Well, yes and no. It probably isn’t what you think. You can’t charge the battery wirelessly, but you can wirelessly charge smartphones or other devices that support wireless charging.
   

The FXLION NANO battery range has been around for quite some time and it includes NANO One, NANO Two and NANO Three Mini V-lock Batteries. What I liked about the NANO series was not only their small size, but they were also some of the very first batteries to incorporate a USB-C output so you could use them to power or charge laptops and smartphones, etc.

The new NANO Wireless V-Mount Batteries feature the same inputs/outputs and capacities as the previous versions, with the added ability to be able to wirelessly charge select smartphones and other devices. The wireless charging capability has a maximum output of 15W

There are three batteries in the range:

The batteries come equipped with a built-in protection circuit, guarding against over-current, over-charge, over-discharge, and over-heat situations. They are claimed to be able to function reliably in a wide range of environmental temperatures, spanning from -20°C up to 55°C.
