Spanish broadcaster RTVE officially switched off its DTT standard definition channel feeds February 5th, 2024. The broadcaster had previously announced plans to cease its SD transmission as it moves towards both HD and UHD over DTT.
   

It added that channels La 1, La 2, 24 Horas, Clan and Teledeporte will all continue to broadcast in HD on DTT

RTVE move to higher-resolution broadcasts follows France Televisions’ France 2 channel, which began broadcasting in 4K UHD at the end of last month.
