PHABRIX released software update v6.0 for the QxL Rasterizer and QxP Portable Waveform Monitor with Real-time Switching Between IP and SDI Hybrid environments.
   

With v6.0 update you can switch between IP and SDI source input to the Analyzer, or output from the Generator, in real-time without rebooting the unit. Whether analyzing IP (ST 2022-6 or ST 2110), or optional SDI input, you can switch using either the System IO instrument, the Analyzer Input softkeys in the toolbar, or from the Switch Analyzer Input launcher in the Settings tab. To switch output from the Generator, again you can do so in real-time from the Video Generator Configuration dialog. No reconfiguration is required when switching input or output.

Improvements to the Waveforms instrument have added more consistent scales and a pair of customizable measurement cursors to measure against horizontal or vertical axes.

For the QxP, this release also provides improved GUI operations for enhanced control of the unit. These include multiple screen layouts; redesigned launchers for instruments, configuration settings and system utilities; a dialog to set the fan speed manually, and enhancements to the operation of the rotary control.

New features include:

● Single boot mode enabling active switching between IP and SDI inputs to the Analyzer, or output from the Generator, without rebooting or reconfiguring.

● Extended screen real-estate from up to 16 configurable screen layouts with up to 16 instruments visible on each layout screen. Access to layouts from a new toolbar or a layout dialog.

● Manual fan control dialog to adjust fan speed and reduce fan noise.

● Enhanced instrument and settings launcher pages to reduce scrolling.

● Picture and Picture - Copy Message Center configurable to display the active source input type: ST 2110 IP, ST 2022-6 IP, or SDI.

● Remote access control can be applied to USB ports for PCAP data capture.
