In a recent upgrade, a prominent broadcaster in the United Arab Emirates has chosen FOR-A’s cutting-edge video production technology to enhance its broadcasting capabilities. This move demonstrates FOR-A’s continued commitment to providing innovative solutions in the Middle Eastern market.
   

The broadcaster, known for its local interest content including traditional sports and events, has implemented two new production switchers from FOR-A. These upgrades target both their outside broadcast production unit and master control, significantly improving their ability to deliver high-quality content to viewers across the UAE.

Remote productions

For remote productions, such as coverage of camel racing events, the broadcaster now utilises the FOR-A HVS-490 switcher with the largest HVS-492WOU control panel.

This powerful combination offers:

• Direct access to 2 M/E functionality
• Rich DVE transitions
• Capability to create sophisticated pre-sets and macros for complex transitions
• Future-proofing with potential for NDI IP connectivity upgrade

Master control room

In the master control room, the FOR-A HVS-190S switcher has been installed. Built on the same technology as the HVS-490, this switcher provides the ideal level of control and 1 M/E effects for channel playout operations.

To complement these switchers, FOR-A has also supplied a ClassX 3D graphics creation and delivery system. This versatile system can be connected to both the studio gallery and master control, enhancing the broadcaster’s visual presentations.
