Panasonic announced its live production platform KAIROS is now compatible with Vizrt’s leading studio automation solution, Viz Mosart. The development, as part of the KAIROS Alliance Partner program, extends workflow options with powerful automation capability.
KAIROS, the ultimate IT/IP platform, is breaking new ground for live video production unlocking flexibility at all levels unlike existing hardware-based systems. It provides unlimited control to deliver rich content for broadcast, large screen display and live streams.
The production assistant of choice for live productions globally, Vizrt’s Viz Mosart automates repetitive and complex manual tasks so production teams can focus on telling better stories, rather than managing technical architecture. Whether for news, sports or pre-recorded studio productions, Viz Mosart helps manage operational costs, improve output consistency, and maximize the creative leverage of the technology estate.
“The KAIROS open architecture easily enables the integration of third-party systems and applications. This addition of Vizrt’s Viz Mosart production assistant solution is yet another example of listening and responding to our customer’s requirements,” said Kageyuki (Kenny) Fujimoto, lead manager of KAIROS Alliance Partners. “It’s also further evidence of the benefits coming from the KAIROS Alliance Partner program, where about 50 manufacturers and suppliers are collaborating across the production ecosystem to bring increased efficiency, flexibility and content quality to the industry – all based on the KAIROS live production platform.”
“Many customers choose Viz Mosart to really maximize the value of their studio investment, unlocking more creative power under each rundown item or button press” said Andy Newton, Senior Product Manager at Vizrt. “The flexibility of Panasonic KAIROS drives our workflows even further towards this aim, and with its integration Viz Mosart is consolidating its position at the cutting edge of software-defined studio production.”
