Signal processing company LYNX Technik has unveiled the PEC 1464, a 12G-SDI, HDMI H.264/265 streamer and recorder.
The PEC 1464 is the successor to the company’s PEC 1864, and supports various applications in broadcast and production, enabling users to stream live events or broadcasts to a content delivery network (CDN) while creating a backup recording for archive.
It can also stream to a CDN for global distribution or multicast a video feed within a network, said the company, and is able to distribute a single stream of audio and video content to multiple recipients simultaneously.
The PEC 1464 also features 12G support and compatibility with SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) and RTMPS (Real-Time Messaging Protocol Secure).
The solution supports video formats up to 12G / 4K UHD and HDMI up to WQUXGA, added LYNX Technik.
