BirdDog released Firmware Update v2.4.053 for the X1 / X1 Ultra Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras. It fixes known issues, contains advanced features for remote control and enhanced NDI support. BirdDog recommended to update your cameras to prevent potential problems and improve functionality.
   

Firmware 2.4.053 new features and Improvements:

• Added a preview of NDI output in the CamControl panel of the BirdUI.

• Improved camera control functionality when using both NDI and VISCA-IP control simultaneously.

• Optimized performance when using NDI, UVC, and a secondary encoder output (e.g., RTSP, RTMP).

• Added a VISCA command to enable AI tracking.

• Added a VISCA command to control the Tally light state.

• Redesigned the CamControl panel in BirdUI to include preset controls

• Added "Preset Speed" control for the "Camera" Preset option.

• Enhanced optimization of Color Shift for improved color accuracy.

This release includes the following fixes:

• Fixed an issue where the white balance could not be controlled manually over VISCA.

• Resolved an issue where the "Configure Source" shortcut in NDI Studio Monitor and the e-ink QR code on the camera incorrectly pointed to the wrong IP address when Wi-Fi was enabled.

• Fixed an issue where preset recall via UVC did not function as expected.
