Sony released FR7 Firmware Update v.3.0 with AI-assisted Auto Framing, enhanced remote production functionality. NDI support as well as bug fixes and minor improvements.
   

Sony FR7 Firmware Update v.3.0 includes:

PTZ Auto Framing function

• Built-In AI PTZ Auto Framing
• Lead Room Effect
• PTZ Auto Framing related CGI commands for integrations with 3rd party controllers

Functions for remote production

• Additional functions with RCP / MSU

• Compatible with CNA-2 (CNA-2 firmware Ver1.2 update planned to be announced later)
• IP tally (TSL UMD V5.0 support)

Preset Position

• Time available for Pan-Tilt Speed Unit for preset recall
• Preset Position compatible with Clear Image Zoom ratio exceeding 1x

VP related features

• Possible to output free-d tracking data to up to four destinations
• Camera position offset data outputs for tracking data
