Panasonic released Firmware Update v.2.17 for PTZ cameras AW-UE30, UE40, UE50. Firmware improves NDI functionality, Auto Tracking, Auto Focus and Auto Iris functions, and fixes known issues.
Firmware Update v.2.17 includes:
1. Standardization of optional NDI functionality
(This change does not apply to AW-UE30 series)
NDI functionality, available as optional paid lisence from Vizrt NDI AB, now comes standard with this firmware version.
2. The Auto Tracking function has been expanded.
(1) The AUTO TRACKING MODE can now be turned ON/OFF using the infrared remote control.
Long press the ON-OPT-OFF button for more than 2 seconds: ON / OFF
(2) The ON/OFF status of Auto Tracking, as well as the actual tracking status, can now be identified by the LED lights on the camera body.

3. The ATW function may not have worked properly depending on the usage environment. Internal processing has been improved, and the stability of ATW operation has been improved.
4. Auto Focus function has been improved to suppress focus deviation occurring under specific conditions.
5. Auto Iris function has been enhanced to suppress hunting occurring under specific conditions.
6. Assigning an IP address via DHCP may result in the display remaining at the default setting (192.168.0.10) regardless of the valid IP address value. This problem has been fixed.
