TrueVisions, Thailand’s leading cable and satellite television operator, has expanded its Actus Digital video recording and compliance solution in its direct-to-home (DTH) platform.
   

“The first Actus systems we have installed were for capturing our SDI feeds for compliance purposes, for being able to monitor the feeds from any date and time and for easily create and export clips. We have expanded the system and now it also records our Transport Streams and we can monitor all the video feeds from one unified user’s interface” said Roengrit Sereejumroenrojn, Director of Engineering at TrueVisions. “Actus system is scalable and we added the additional TS recording fast and easy.”

“We use our compliance system not only to fulfil the regulatory requirements but also to provide TrueVisions users an intuitive web-based UI to search, retrieve and export clips. Actus Alert Center is used as a verification tool for our quality of service as it sends real-time alerts on any audio or video issue in the aired content via mail or SNMP traps,” said Raphael Renous, CTO at Actus Digital. “As Actus platform includes a variant of modules, it allows TrueVisions to use a mandatory system for additional requirements, increasing the justification and cost saving of Actus solution.”
