Described as the most important cultural institution in Eastern Poland, Lublin’s Centrum Spotkania Kultur (CSK) theater and concert hall has opened its doors following a full technical upgrade by renowned systems integrator Audio Plus. At the heart of the fully integrated audio design is an innovative IP intercom solution established with OMNEO IP-technology and designed to ease workflow challenges within the large venue.

CSK’s design is centered on an ADAM-M frame offering full integration between the venue’s extensive facilities. “The intercom in the main auditorium is integrated with the control room of CSK’s recording studio, for when they wish to record a performance from the main stage,” explains Stanisław Mielczarek. The intercom also facilitates multi-way partyline communication between the recording studio’s control room, live room, the auditorium and the stage. Silent messages can also be sent from the control room to the director or even the in-ear monitoring system of an artist on stage via the monitor console.
A mixture of next generation KP-Series keypanels can be found throughout the venue, including a KP-5032 (with EKP-4016 extension), smaller KP-4016 panels and both desk and wall-mounted DKP-4016 units. In the theater, BP-319 beltpacks provide rugged and reliable service.
“CSK is one of Poland’s most prestigious projects of the last five years,” explains Audio Plus Senior Designer, Łukasz Kaźmierczak, who worked closely on the project with his colleague Stanisław Mielczarek of Audio Plus, who provided technical support, and Bartek Pyczek of CSK, who was head of the technical crew and acted as lead project manager. “It’s one of the largest venues in the country and highly prized by the city and the region. All of the technology suppliers were chosen very carefully.”
