The new PIX-E Series of portable field recording monitors for Video Devices's product line was showed at NAB 2015. The series includes three camera mount models; PIX-E5H, PIX-E5 and the PIX-E7. These recording field monitors are made for camera operators who need fast, high-quality tools to ensure their vision is captured with complete confidence. The PIX-E recorders were designed with an incredible set of features and withstand the harsh production environments of professionals.
   

Each model features a best in class LCD with capacitive touchscreen and tactile controls. The screen supports resolution up to 1020 x 1080 with 523ppi on the PIX-E5/H and 1920 x 1200 with 323ppi on the PIX-E7. The PIX-E units are made from a lightweight, die-cast aluminum chassis and the screen is made from scratch resistant Gorilla® Glass 2. 

We define a product launch as introducing a product, taking orders and shipping within a short time frame.  This will not be the case for the PIX-E Series. We do feel it is very important to inform our Channel Partners and our customers that these products are in our near future. We invite you to promote these exciting products, however please make reference to the estimated availability below. 

We anticipate shipping the PIX-E5 in the summer of 2015. The PIX-E5H will follow approximately two months after the PIX-E5. The PIX-E7 is estimated to begin shipping September 2015
