Panasonic released Upgrade Version 1.5.7 for IT/IP platform KAIROS. It is a live video production platform based on a new concept and innovative architecture. Kairos Core will have additional features for Multiviewer, Kairos Creator App, 2.5D DVE support and improved operability across many other functions.
   

KAIROS uses the GPU for the video processing, thus allowing flexible video production using multiple layers with unrestricted number of MEs or keys and the “CANVAS” screen unhampered by resolution or format.

Updated Kairos Core 100/1000 and Kairos Core 200/2000 mainframes offer significantly improved functionality and performance. A variety of video inputs and outputs are available with KAIROS to support not only baseband signals such as SDI but also new IP signals including SMPTE ST 2110, NDI and SRT protocols to realize remote live video production and streaming.

Kairos Version 1.5.7 includes:

• Touch-panel support (requires AT-SFTC10 software option, sold separately) for intuitive video selection, camera switching, clip playback, etc. via Multiviewer screen on touch-panel PCs (Windows 10 & 11 but not Mac OS)

• Capturing still images, as well as video clips on the RAM player from KAIROS input/output video

• 2.5D DVE support (rotation and position adjustment using X, Y and Z axes)

• Extended support for system log, including GUI screen warnings (fan speed, power unit, etc.)

• Kairos Creator Multi-Select for various GUIs:

•• Multiple clip selection (Still Image, RAM/Clip Player and Audio)

•• Multiple source selection (Source Options)

•• Multiple input selections (Input Source)

•• Multiple object selection (Paint)

• Multiviewer outputs doubled to 4, plus support for 4K/HD simultaneous outputs

• Improved operability across many other functions

Upgrade Version 1.5.7 is appliable for Kairos Core 1000 (AT-KC1000), Kairos Core 100 (AT-KC100), Kairos Core 2000 (AT-KC2000), and Kairos Core 200 (AT-KC200).
