Pixel Power has launch internationally two versions of the same file-based graphics concept at IBC2013 - Pixel Factory and Pixel OnDemand. These are aimed at the large number of high intensity, high-quality niche and syndicated channels on-air today with both products delivering the same automated workflows with uncompromised graphics. The only choice for the broadcaster is between capital expenditure by buying Pixel Factory™, or an innovative pay-as-you-go operational expenditure model with Pixel OnDemand™.

For those operators who want to move to an operational expenditure model, Pixel OnDemand offers precisely the same functionality and architecture as Pixel Factory, but on a pay-per-use basis. The broadcaster/facility buys a number of hours of file output for either simple or complex graphics. A range of bundles are available to suit the demands of all broadcasters. The user is free to choose to use the pay-per-hour budget on a single processor or across a large server farm.

Pixel Factory is a networked graphics delivery system, with a stylish user interface. It runs on a graphics render farm of standard IT servers qualified by Pixel Power, which allows the company’s Gallium software to manage the workflow and means a single implementation to serve multiple users, departments and channels. Broadcasters buy the system (with or without servers) at an attractive capital price.

The solutions are aimed at broadcasters and facilities needing high-quality file-based graphics, within programming as well as for branding and promotions. Both include elements of Pixel Power’s Gallium™ automated workflow tools and interfaces to other systems.
