Firmware version 3.02 for the PIX220/220i and PIX240/240i Production Video recorders is now available for download at Sound Devices's web site. Units shipping on July 2, 2013 or later includes this new firmware. This update improves performance and stability. Firmware relises contain the latest features and bug fixes.
   

- PIX 220(i) and PIX 240(i) drives are now formatted with exFAT. UDF reading and recording is still supported.
- Recording to ProRes 4444 offers recordings that are perceptually indistinguishable from the original source material.
- The PIX 240(i)'s BNC input accepts 12-bit 3G SDI (4:4:4 RGB or YCbCr), HD-SDI.
-Time Code and record state display can be sent to the SDI and HDMI outputs.
