Dalet has announced that the Dalet Flex media logistics solution for digital media management projects has been selected by Radio France. Radio France is a national public broadcasting group with seven radio stations: France Inter, franceinfo, France Bleu, France Culture, France Musique, Fip, Mouv', and four music bands.
"Dalet is proud to support Radio France in the evolution of its media management platform," said Johann Zemmour, Chief Sales Officer, Dalet. "Dalet pioneered the transformation to digital media management and automation platforms for radio in the early 90s. We look forward to ushering in the next chapter and accompanying Radio France as it expands its multimedia footprint."
The new software platform, Dalet Flex, will enable the management, organization and storage of all types of digital media such as audio, video, images, and associated metadata files. The system will also include workflow, acquisition, processing, editing, contribution features for Radio France's channels and digital platforms, and archiving of Radio France's audio and video assets.
Deployed as a multimedia configuration, Dalet Flex will support new editorial feeds and catalogs. The cloud-native architecture and microservices provide unmatched scalability and flexibility to manage the growing number of assets. It features the highest standards of traceability and security. Audio and video media are handled without distinction and other content types such as PDF documents, EDL files, images and more are fully supported. Robust APIs will allow Radio France to integrate the Dalet Flex solution within its existing technological ecosystem.
