Dalet says its cloud native products support the industry’s transition with flexible hybrid and cloud workflows, in its NAB and IBC campaign. The “polycloud” Dalet Flex solution can be deployed on-premises, in the cloud or as a hybrid solution.

“Our customer experience is at the heart of development and Dalet is delivering highly adaptive tools that improve media workflows and the overall business outcome,” says Bea Alonso, CMO Dalet. “The need to have remote workforces and business continuity has accelerated the industry’s pace into the cloud. Dalet offerings feature a full cloud or hybrid architecture in terms of compute and storage, allowing customers to design a workflow that eliminates existing technical debt and is more responsive to the fast changing environment.”

MAM platform Dalet Flex centralizes production, distribution and archiving workflows. Metadata and analytics capabilities provide what the firm calls a “single source of truth” for media assets across the entire media supply chain. The “polycloud” Dalet Flex solution can be deployed on-premises, in the cloud or as a hybrid solution providing customers choice.

The new FlexXTEND Panel provides greater NLE integration with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro. The panel features full search and content discovery with free text searching for general queries; advanced filters and sorting for targeted queries against any metadata, and saved searches for common queries. Users can work with proxy files or source content and have both thumbnail and list view for browsing and searching for content. They also have the ability to preview video, image and audio content before importing to a project. Users can cross-collaborate with FlexMAM and asset collections.

The Dalet Brio server platform supports greater density with more ingest and playout streams, “making it even easier and faster for companies to migrate operations to IP without disrupting existing workflows that still rely on SDI.

The Dalet Media Cortex AI service platform leverages cognitive services and machine learning to offer Dalet customers speech to text, object recognition, facial recognition and automated subtitling services. Recent additions include APIs to translate captions while preserving timing information, eliminating the need to manually re-time translated captions.

“AI is becoming more pervasive in media production and at Dalet, we continue to integrate across offerings, helping customers do their jobs...better,” Bea adds. “Metadata, which is critical for AI workflows, is at the heart of all our platforms. We have expertise in leveraging it to propel productivity-enhancing AI workflows like real-time recommendation of indexed content for storytellers and automatic creation of subtitles for content destined for global audiences.”
