Panasonic is launching Panasonic Connect Europe, a new company that will offer diverse broadcast and media entertainment solutions. An integral part of the new company will be business frontline process innovation — called Gemba Process Innovation — which Panasonic says draws on its business, technology and solutions know-how and is a “transformational approach to radically review, redesign and reinvent operations”.
   

It uses innovative technologies to deliver new ways of working to increase efficiencies and improve customer satisfaction, said Panasonic.

The Gemba Process Innovation team will advise and deploy edge devices, smart sensing and robotics, as well as improve visualization of operations by using digitalised data, deliver operational optimization and process automation, and enable optimization across the supply chain.

“Panasonic Connect Europe will form a new and agile organization able to respond quickly to the demands of the various industries across the manufacturing, logistics, retail, entertainment, education and public sector,” said Hiroyuki Nishiuma, current managing director of Panasonic System Communications Company Europe (PSCEU), who will become the MD of Panasonic Connect Europe.
