Broadcasters across Europe are offered football fans the best picture quality available during this summer’s Euro 2020. Viewers in the UK, Netherlands and France was watched the matches in Ultra HD.
   

The BBC is makes “most” of the games it’s broadcasting available in Ultra HD via iPlayer.

In France, Canal Plus showed 45 matches in UHD via its 4K event channel.

KPN and Ziggo in the Netherlands have offered matches in Ultra HD, as long as they have a 4K set top box.

In Germany, broadcasters ARD and ZDF have opted to only show matches in HD, but fans were able to watch UHD games via Deutsche Telekom’s Magenta TV service.

Italian broadcaster Rai was shown 27 matches in Ultra HD, while Sky Italia said all Sky Q customers in the country abled to watch every match in UHD.
