Eurosport unveils live VR coverage for PyeongChang Games

Sony Venice to ship with “Dual Base ISO” mode and built-in 8-step optical ND filter

Sony has made a few last minute changes to the VENICE just before the camera starts to ship. New capabilities include a “Dual Base ISO” mode. Along with the previously announced native ISO of 500, Sony has added an additional 2500 ISO base as well. VENICE will also benefit from the unique addition of a built-in 8-step optical ND filter servo mechanism.

AJA just released free v2.0 software for its FS-HDR enables greater control over color processing and HDR conversion, transforms and expands camera format support. FUJIFILM/FUJINON Announces On-Site Service & Support in South Korea for 2018 Winter Games

At next month’s Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, the Optical Devices Division of FUJIFILM will provide on-site technical service and support for FUJINON lenses. Engineers from Fujifilm’s American, European and Japanese branches, along with the company’s local Korean service representative, will be on hand starting February 1st to assist customers throughout the Winter Games. The events in PyeongChang begin on Friday, February 9th and run through Sunday, February 25th.

     
     
 
More Features For NewTek Connect Spark Converters And NDI PTZ Camera

NewTek announced new features for NewTek Connect Spark converters and the NewTek NDI PTZ camera, revolutionary devices designed to deliver video to a computer and/or an IP network using NDI. Existing customers can take advantage of the new features through software upgrades free of charge. Connect Spark converts either SDI or HDMI signals into NDI sources to be shared over a standard Ethernet networks either wired or wirelessly.
