Game Creek Video trusts RTS intercoms for upgraded Thursday Night Football package

With its fleet of 54 OB trucks, Game Creek Video was a natural choice to provide remote facilities for the 2018 Thursday Night Football telecasts, which recently wrapped at the end of December. Game Creek designated its three-trailer Encore mobile unit for all the broadcasts, serving over 200 credentialed network personnel each week. Like all the companys remote production systems, Encore relies on RTS intercoms to provide smooth, reliable connectivity.

Sony VENICE High Frame Rate will come up to 4K 120fps

Panasonic Upgrades EVA1 Camera

Panasonic has announced its third firmware upgrade to the EVA1 camera, providing greater cost efficiency and future-proofing for the handheld cinema camera. The free upgrade is now available with a key feature being a new HEVC H.265 codec that can record in 4K 50p/60p video with 4:2:0 10bit video sampling. Compared to the H.264 codec in version two, this allows up to twice the amount of compressed data, while maintaining the same high-quality resolution.
