Fujinon SK35-700mm Telephoto PL Mount Box Lens

Fujinon is developing the SK35-700mm Telephoto PL Mount Box Lens. This is an interesting lens and it has been designed specifically for the multi-camera cinema-style production market. A lot of multi-camera cinema-style productions either use native PL mount zoom lenses with motorized FIZ systems, PL servo zooms such as the Fujinon Cabrio series, or they adapt broadcast-style 2/3″ lenses or box lenses.

Sony Teases The Development Of The FX6

VENICE, FX9, and now Sony teases the FX6. The tease and a photo are about all we know about the FX6, officially. I believe this helps consumers understand the idea that cinema features, typically found in higher-end cameras like the VENICE, may be found in smaller, less expensive cameras like the FX6. Think color science, a full-frame sensor, and useful auto-focus features.
