Extreme Angles selects PHABRIX Sx TAG for SDI and fiber video signal troubleshooting

PHABRIX, a broadcast test & measurement innovator is pleased to announce that South Carolina-based video production company, Extreme Angles has purchased a PHABRIX Sx TAG handheld instrument. The Sx TAG is being used to quickly troubleshoot fiber and SDI video signals during live events in the southeast United States.

     
     
 
Sony includes AI analytics in latest PTZ cameras

Sony is expanding its lineup of pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras with the addition of two 4K models with built-in AI analytics. The SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 cameras automatically track, and naturally frame presenters, regardless of movement or posture.

     
     
 
EMG Chooses Leader LV7300 Multiscreen Rasterizers for New Mobile Production Vehicles

EMG, a globally active provider of broadcast services for sports and live events as well as studio-based production, has chosen Leader multiscreen rasterizerizing waveform monitors for integration into three new OB vehicles. AEQ Unveils New Phoenix Venus 4 Audiocodec

AEQ has unveiled its new Phoenix Venus 4 audiocodec. This new dual stationary audiocodec for point-to-point links stands out for having IP connectivity and two simultaneous bidirectional stereo transmissions with different formats and qualities. It also features SIP protocol and EBU N/ACIP standard, as well as OPUS algorithms (configuration support and remote control tools).

AJA has unveiled new firmware update for gateway device for conversion between NDI and SDI. BRIDGE NDI 3G v1.6 now supports #NDI 5.5, NDIFrameSync, and SD 525i and 625i. Update fixes some known issues and improves BRIDGE NDI 3G functionality.

Panasonic updates Kairos live production platform mainframe

Panasonic has updated its live production platform Kairos by adding two new Core mainframes, expanding the platforms GPU processing to support larger and more complex productions.
