Bluebell Announces Silhouette Combine Converters

Bluebell Opticom unveiled Combine4 and Combine8 converters, the newest additions to the Silhouette power-insertion family for robotic-camera productions in sports, theatre, and music venues. When used with the Silhouette power-insertion system, the converters let users combine signals from four or eight cameras onto one SMPTE hybrid cable.

     
     
 


The new Lectrosonics SM Wideband transmitters SMQV and SMV have an upgraded display and infrared sync for convenience. Also added is 3-block wide tuning that is found in the LT model as well.

     
     
 
LYNX Technik Announced Bi-Directional 12G/3G Single-Link/Quad-Link Converter

Sony FS5 II first look: All the big changes are inside

At NAB Show 2018 Sony unveiled the next generation of FS5: PXW-FS5M2K and PXW-FS5M2 (with and w/out lens) What we know about? All the big changes are inside. Camera looks exactly the same as previous on the outside except for the label and a different colour ND dial. Not that this is a bad thing as the size and weight of the FS5 was a big selling point.

     
     
 
ChyronHego Evolving To Tell Smarter, More Compelling Stories

Angenieux 42-420mm AS2: An Updated Anamoprhic Zoom

Just ahead of NAB, Angenieux has announced a revised version of its 44-440mm Optimo AS2. The new lens is a 42-420mm T4.5. It retains the same physical dimensions and base optical design as the 44-440mm which was released back in 2016 but features a few key updates.

     
     
 
Autoscript Introduces New IPS Range For Intelligent Prompting

Autoscript has introduced its new Intelligent Prompting IPS range, which includes products like the EVO-IPS monitor and WinPlus-IPS software. AJA Announces New Solutions Supporting SMPTE ST 2110 at NAB

AJA Video Systems revealed the new IPR-10G-HDMI Mini-Converter, which converts SMPTE ST 2110 IP video/audio to HDMI. This new Mini-Converter allows broadcast, production, post and ProAV professionals to output SMPTE ST 2110 video/audio to HDMI monitors. AJA also introduced SMPTE ST 2110 support for its KONA IP via free Desktop Software v14.2.

     
     
 
Canon Announces Four 4K UHD New Lenses

Canon today announces the release of a medium, telephoto field box lens, the UJ66x9B, and three ENG/EFP broadcast lenses - the CJ24ex7.5B, CJ18ex7.6B and CJ14ex4.3B. Launched under a completely new lens category, UHDgc, the models feature smooth operability, while maintaining high lens build standards.
