ES Broadcast Hire captures more Canon UHD field lenses

ES Broadcast Hire, which is home to one of Europe’s largest 4K rental fleets, has taken delivery of another wave of new UHD lenses from Canon UK. The 20 Canon CJ12ex4.3B IRSE S/IASE S lenses, 10 Canon UHD DIGISUPER 90 (UJ90X9B) lenses and 20 CJ20ex7.8B lenses ES Broadcast Hire has purchased will boost its already extensive inventory of Canon kit.

     
     
 
Cinegy says yes to flexible IP, cloud, on-premise playout, and master control at NAB 2018

Cinegy, which develops and produces software technology for digital video processing, asset management, video compression and automation and playout today announced that it will launch its Channel-in-the-Cloud™ solution bundle, consisting of its Cinegy Air PRO playout and automation solution and Multiviewer system on Booth SL12116 from 9-12 April in Las Vegas.

EVA ROP – Get Wireless Control of the AU-EVA1

The AU-EVA1 Compact Cinema Camera offers numerous functions and features. Controls for these functions can be accessed in numerous ways depending on how one chooses to operate the camera. A MENU button and scroll wheel on the side of the camera opens a traditional menu tree. A HOME button reveals a shortcut display with quick access to commonly-adjusted settings. Menus can be navigated from the side handgrip so that one never has to look away from the image. And the LCD display is also a touch screen for direct menu access.

     
     
 
5.7K raw and other new talents in latest EVA-1 update

Panasonic announced a large update to the EVA1 firmware in the form of version 2.0. This is the update that users have been waiting for, with a major new output capabilty. Users of the new version 2.0 firmware will be able to output raw video over SDI at 5.7K resolution from 1-30fps with a S35 frame. While 4K can be output at up to 60fps, and 2K at up to 240fps. That should allow for some considerable creative heft.

     
     
 
Bexel Orders PHABRIX Portable Analyser/Generators For Winter Sports Season

PHABRIX has announced that Bexel, an NEP Broadcast Services Company, has ordered 31 Sx portable HD/SD analyser/generators, including six Sx TAG analyser/generators plus 25 SxE units with eye/jitter analysis, for use in the busy upcoming winter sports season.
