The latest addition to For-A’s Hanabi line of video switchers, the HVS-490 HD/4K/UHD unit, is now available for shipping. With 4K/UHD and 3G capabilities, the HVS-490 production switcher is designed to be used mobile shoots, events and in-house productions.

Leader Electronics Corporation has announced a major refinement to the LV5490 4K/HD/HD waveform monitor with the expansion of its multiscreen capability. With music videos, it’s all about the mood. Braedon Freeland, owner and operator of B Free Media, shot three separate music videos in March, and was able to capture three different moods using two daylight-balanced Zylight F8-200 LED Fresnels.

Panasonic is incorporating Network Device Interface support into five of its products, including four PTZ cameras and a switcher. The cameras that now feature built-in NDI support include the AW-HN38, AW-HN40, AW-UN70 and AW-HN130, as well as the AV-HLC100 switcher.
