Fujifilm has updated its suite of 4K broadcast lenses with the UA107x8.4, a 107x zoom model with newly-redesigned image-stabilisation mechanism. The new zoom rate demand unit ERD-50A features an LCD panel and a four-way operation button for operability.

Sony announced the HDC-F5500 system camera, the latest entry in Sony’s HDC camera series, which boasts a highly sensitive Super 35mm, 4K CMOS global shutter image sensor that enables shallow depth of field. Thanks to the global shutter effect to prevent rolling shutter distortion and flash band, and its high frame rate capability of 120fps, the HDC-F5500 is ideal for sports and live entertainment production. The camera’s high sensitivity and low noise also make it suitable for capturing dark scenes, which is especially beneficial for drama productions.

Panasonic has announced a refresh of its market-leading PTZ camera range with five new models to address market needs. The 4K integrated cameras AW-UE80W/K, AW-UE50W/K, AW-UE40W/K, AW-UE20W/K and the HD integrated camera AW-HE20W/K will be released sequentially from the first quarter of 2022. All the cameras have a new proprietary direct drive system based on Panasonic’s own technology for quiet and smooth vertical and horizontal directions.
