Countryman Associates unveiled its new portable Countryman Phantom Power Supply at Winter NAMM 2020. The Phantom Power Supply is designed with the intention of providing ultra-low noise for clean audio, as well as flexible power options and selectable voltage settings. It can operate on a single 9 V battery, two 9 V batteries for extended life, or a 9 V wall adapter. Selectable 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V voltage output settings allow the Countryman Phantom Power Supply to extend battery life for microphones that don’t require 48 V power.

This unique KVM function in the Multiviewer allows multiple computers connected to the Multiviewer to be controlled via a single mouse and keyboard. Users simply move the mouse from window to window (on their display) to switch the control from one computer to another one. A single operator can visually monitor and control up to eight computers on a single console with a UHD or HD monitor. Lectrosonics introduces the new DBu-LEMO bodypack transmitter as part of the D Squared product series. The DBu-LEMO is fully compatible with the DSQD digital receiver and features a tuning range of 470MHz to 608MHz (614MHz for export version). The new transmitter includes specially developed, high efficiency circuitry for extended operating time on two AA batteries, and offers RF power selections at 10mW, 25mW, and 50mW. (roughly equivalent in operating range to 25mW, 60mW, and 120mW in an FM transmitter). With an audio frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz +0.0, - 3dB, a DBu-LEMO’s dynamic range features of 110dB before limiting.

Norwegian public broadcaster NRK has chosen Leader waveform monitors and rasterising test equipment as the core reference instruments for its latest-generation mobile production trailer, OB24. The vehicle includes seven Leader test instruments and an LT4448 error-detecting automatic channel switcher.
