AJA Video Systems announced at IBC 2019 that Dolby Vision support is expected to soon be available for its Hi5-4K-Plus and Hi5-12G Mini-Converters via an upcoming firmware release. The update will make it easier for creative professionals to achieve their artistic visions by enabling the conversion of Dolby Vision encoded HDR content on SDI to be converted to HDMI for PQ HDR monitoring on affordable HDMI displays.

The NextoDI NPS-10 is a portable standalone backup storage device introduced at this year’s NAB and shipped since June 2019. It can quickly copy and verify files from SD, microSD, CF, Cfast, XQD, or CFexpress cards (depending on the version device you get). It comes without internal drive, but accepts SATA SSDs and 2.5″ HDDs up to 7.2mm thick.

FUJIFILM Corporation is pleased to announce that it will release the telephoto zoom lens FUJINON Premista80-250mmT2.9-3.5 (“Premista80-250mm”) with a focal length of 80-250mm in December 2019. It will be the second model to join the Premista Series of zoom cinema lenses that support large-format sensors* and deliver outstanding high resolution, natural and beautiful bokeh and rich gradation with HDR (high dynamic range). The Premista80-250mm complements the FUJINON Premista28-100mmT2.9 (“Premista28-100mm”), released in August this year, to cover a broad range of focal lengths from 28mm to 250mm, further expanding focal lengths coverage that can be captured with premium image quality.
